IFR57

Engineered for Heavy Loads and High-Speed Applications.

Nylon cable chain with frames that open at both the inner and outer-radius sides, installed on every link with vertical separators. Reliability, user-friendliness, no operational downtime even in the most demanding applications.

12 widths

Available with nylon frames. Custom widths available with aluminium drawplates and stainless-steel rods.

57mm

Inner height.

Key Features

IFR57 cable carrier chain
01

Improved IR-System

The enhanced second-generation Invisible Rolling System ensures smoother movement, reduced push-pull forces and extended service life.

02

Reinforced guide channel

Reinforced construction available in zinc-plated steel or AISI 304/AISI 316L stainless steel.

03

Anti-misalignment device

Standard anti-misalignment device available in different configurations, depending on travel distance and required performance under operation.

04

Integrated guide-channel wheels

Wheels installed inside the guide channel where the chain in the extended side of travel, minimizing wear and maintenance requirements for the cable-chain components.

What's new in the new IR-System?

Improved engineering of the two parts most exposed to wear: the pop-up system and the wheel.

XL-Wheel

XL-Wheel

The larger wheels improve cable chain performance and extends service life.

  • *86 mm wheel OD: lower rotational speed and smoother passage of chain links
  • Larger ball bearing with increased load capacity

Typical Applications

SHIPYARD CRANES / SHORE POWER

HEAVY-DUTY APPLICATIONS

Developed to withstand very high added weightS and extremely long travel distances, even in the harshest conditions — guaranteeing exceptional reliability.

STS

HIGH-SPEED APPLICATIONS

Ideal for high-speed applications such as STS cranes handling ship loading and unloading, where long travel distances and high speeds demand exceptionally robust cable chains.
